Alif (ا) is the first letter of the Arabic alphabet — one vertical stroke, the mark every word begins with. We chose it because it says exactly what we believe about software: every good product starts as one simple idea, drawn clearly.

Alif Universe is a small studio building mobile and web apps for everyday curiosity. Our first product is Aurent, a coin scanner and collector’s marketplace — point your camera at a coin and its story opens up: what it is, what it’s worth, and what you can do with it. More doors are being built: plant identification, insect identification, and a calmer corner of your phone.

We’re small on purpose. Small means every screen gets argued over, every animation gets tuned, and nothing ships because a roadmap said so. It also means we won’t pretend to be what we’re not: no invented team photos, no fabricated download counts. Just products, improving in public.
